This book presents a curated collection of films from 1930 to 2020, each widely regarded by critics and media as among the worst in cinematic history. In tribute to the monochrome era that preceded the rise of color cinema, the entire publication adopts a grayscale palette—an aesthetic nod to the pre-1914 period when films were devoid of vibrant hues.

The design draws inspiration from the visual language of film credits: the typography and layout echo the structure of closing sequences, lending a cinematic rhythm to the reading experience. Consistency is upheld through the exclusive use of a single typeface and two font sizes, with underlining used as the only typographic accent.

Beyond cataloging poorly received films, this book reflects on the enduring cultural imprint of cinema itself. It invites readers not only to reconsider failure in film but to step into the atmosphere of the silver screen, where nostalgia, critique, and design intersect.
